Rotary Vane Pump Systems:
Each pump is supplied with anti-vibration mountings and mounted on a mild steel painted base frame. The pump inlet is fitted with an isolation valve and vacuum gauge. The pumps are connected to an ABS manifold, with the facility for removing any pump without shutting the system down. The manifold will incorporate adjustable vacuum sensors for control of the backup pumps. There is a digital vacuum indication. The control panel incorporates starters for each pump and ammeters, hours run meters, and start, stop and trip indication. There is a manual/automatic switch for selecting mode of operation. In automatic the pump will be controlled by a vacuum switch. A duty selector switch determines the lead pump, which will run when the system is in automatic, subsequent pumps can be called by the vacuum sensors. This is a compact system which can be designed and built to suit almost any vacuum requirement. It is usually installed as a central vacuum system. Due to its compact nature it makes servicing easy and quick with minimum downtime. These systems are available in many sizes and can even be designed with future expansion in mind.
