Hopper filling see Pneumatic Conveying On most plastic extrusion machines the profile is moved through a liquid usually water. The channel is kept under vacuum and the water is kept at a predetermined level. We would usually supply a liquid ring vacuum pump for this application.
Some time the extrusion needs to be cooled down at the end of the machine a blower or air amplifier will usually do this.
