CNC Routing:The use of vacuum pumps for CNC routing is very common in the woodworking industry.There is usually a vacuum table with suction cups which when the sheet of timber is placed on the table is sucked down very firmly. The type of pump used is usually a PVR Rotant type oil recirculating rotary vane vacuum pump. If you have Busch Vacuum or some other brand we can usually supply parts for repair and service. Usually all you need is air filters and air exhaust filters and some oil. If you have dry rotary vane vacuum pumps usually all you need is vanes and air filters. Frequent problems. The timber moves when there is pressure on it. It worked fine up till now, but we changed the timber.
